A Note Regarding Comments

As some of you are no doubt aware, Blogger is in the process of updating its user interface. The latest version is in the Beta stage of development. Many of you who use Blogger have already converted. I have not, because Google is making it an incredible pain in the ass. Eventually I'll have to, of course, and in the meantime I am having no end of problems: Can't post embedded video or audio clips; can't post photographs or graphics; and, most annoying of all, I'm not getting notified every time a comment is posted here.

I just discovered this by clicking on the Moderate Comments tab of my dashboard, something I didn't think I had to do given that I am supposed to receive e-mail notification of any comments that are posted. So my apologies to those of you who posted comments and never saw them. They're all up now (except for a few nasty ad homenims - those went down the memory hole, as they always will). I will respond to some of them in time.
